About me
![]() |
I’m an enterprise Java architect who has been working with Java since 1996 and J2EE since early 2000 and have been in at the cutting edge of numerous Agile development projects over the last years. I have extensive experience with requirements analysis and high-level application design. Currently, I’m working as Technical Director of JTeam, an Amsterdam-based software development company.
Furthermore, I’m core developer for Spring Modules. Spring Modules aims at facilitating the integration between the Spring framework and other projects, without extending Spring’s core. Furthermore, I am a developer for Direct Web Remoting (DWR), a project that aims to provide easy AJAX for Java. Recently, I contributed content for the book Professional Java Development with the Spring Framework (Wrox, 2005) written by Rod Johnson, Juergen Hoeller, Thomas Risberg, Colin Sampaleanu and Alef Arendsen. I also co-authored Building Spring 2 Enterprise Applications (Apress, 2007) and am currently in the process of writing Beginning Google Web Toolkit: From Novice to Professional (Apress, in press). |
